AviSight C3UBE™ Takes Flight With Help From Xtreme Cube
AviSight, the world’s leading provider of unmanned aerial inspections and data services, has recently unveiled its proprietary C3UBE™ Command Center.
This mobile command center enables unmanned Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) data collection and near real-time data streaming from almost any point within any critical infrastructure network, revolutionizing the industrial inspections industry.
Manufactured in Henderson, Nevada by Xtreme Cubes Corporation™, the C3UBE is 7 ft. 4 in. wide and tall, and has a 19 ft. total length. These dimensions enable the C3UBE to be fitted to a trailer, and also transported in a shipping container if required. Fitted out to AviSight’s exact requirements, the C3UBE features a large desk and monitors for two pilots, plus additional seating for back-up pilots. It also houses the data equipment and has generator storage.
It has been designed to not only allow AviSight to reach the maximum BVLOS distances permitted today, but also to expand its range for UAS operations as limits increase in the national airspace. In addition, it enables near-real-time transmission of data and imagery, which can be disseminated live to anywhere in the world via its proprietary distribution network located at Switch’s Tier 4 data center. It is with this advancement that AviSight is starting to see a clear path by which UAS can supplant helicopters and other manned aviation assets.
J.B Bernstein, CEO of AviSight said, “The C3UBE represents a true generational paradigm shift for industrial inspections, efficiency, data actionability and of course, safety. It will continue to fuel growth for our company in the oil, gas, power, transportation and telecommunications sectors.”
Brandon Main, CEO of Xtreme Cubes Corporation added, “It has been our pleasure to partner with AviSight to help them realize their vision for this project. This is a truly remarkable and highly innovative use for an Xtreme Cube and we look forward to seeing how the C3UBE will transform this industry in the long-term.”
